Create a New Wallet

Step 1: Choose a passphrase

To create a new wallet, you first need to choose a passphrase for it. We advise you not to choose something off the top of your head, such as a birthday or pet's name, because that would be too easy for others to guess. Instead, press the Random Passphrase button below. That will create a 5 word passphrase that is very easy to remember, yet very strong.

Guessing a 5-word passphrase is about like winning the lottery a million million times in a row. If you want an even stronger passphrase, you can press the button again to gather more words.

Step 2: Enter the passphrase

Now type your chosen passphrase into the field below, and type it again to make sure you entered it correctly.
